Brain activity levels affect self-perception: ‘Rose-colored glasses’ correlate with less frontal lobe use

The less you use your brain's frontal lobes, the more you see yourself through rose-colored glasses, researchers have found.

More Obesity Blues: Obese People Are At Greater Risk For Developing Alzheimer’s, Study Finds

Researchers have found that obese people had 8 percent less brain tissue than people with normal weight, while overweight people had 4 percent less tissue in their frontal lobes.

Alien lipstick syndrome

I've just found this remarkable case study of a woman with an unpredictable form of 'alien hand syndrome' that was triggered when she had a seizure.The syndrome, where you lose conscious control of one of your hands while it carries out unbidden actions, is normally associated with permanent damage to the brain, often in the frontal lobes, but this version only occurred when an epileptic seizure
