The film, whose executive producers include Oprah Winfrey, tells the bleak story of an obese, illiterate 16-year-old Harlem girl who is pregnant with her second child (the result both times of sexual assaults by her father) and who suffers daily verbal and physical abuse at the hands of her mother.

The Commencement Address I Will Not Give - Yet
Oprah Winfrey has taken heat for her recent college Commencement address in which she said that having a private plane is an essential that everyone ought to enjoy in order to obtain the good and meaningful life. I agree that a private plane is convenient, and that it opens up lots of free time for busy people to do good works for others, but I can think of a few other pieces of advice
